LeBron James is a big auld unit. 6 ft 8 and 250 pounds, basketball's biggest star is not someone you want running towards you with little to no chance of stopping.
That's exactly the scenario that Ellie Day, wife of golfer Jason Day, was faced with in Cleveland last night as she watched LeBron's Cavaliers defeat Oklahoma City Thunder 104-100. Unfortunately for Day however, she didn't actually get to see the end of that clash after she was taken away on a stretcher as a result of a wayward LeBron James during the forth quarter.
My dream: Have LeBron James collide with me as I sit courtside then continue playing like he didn't just crush me pic.twitter.com/ymebnHMi0a

Day, who is thought to be okay after the incident, was taken to a local hospital where she was kept in overnight for observation. Speaking to ESPN after the game, LeBron was obviously asked about the collision.
Obviously her health is very important, and hopefully she's doing well. The guys told us she's doing great now. So, but you know, I was going for a loose ball. Just trying to keep the possession going, and I hate that that was the end result of it.
He has also subsequently tweeted his apologies to Day.
Ellie Day I hope you're doing okay! My apologies! Hope u guys come back to another game soon. Love LJ!
