Here's Why Goldberg's Forehead Was Inexplicably Bleeding On WWE Raw Last Night

We are just five days away from one of the wrestling nights of the year and last night, WWE Raw was in full in Royal Rumble mode. The show concluded with three of the biggest stars of the last 17 years as The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar and Goldberg face each other down. However, while the lads did the whole hype building spiel, one question was on everyone's lips; why was Goldberg bleeding?

For the entire segment Goldberg's head was trickling blood, despite the fact he hadn't been touched by anyone or even done anything that would have explained getting a bang on the head. Or had he?

As it turns out, the WCW legend has a pre-game ritual which he has carried over from his football days. Before going out on stage, he headbutts the locker room door to get himself pysched up. Obviously last night left him with the scars to prove it.

Back in November, Sasha Banks told WrestlingInc about witnessing the door banging firsthand, when Goldberg returned to WWE:

He came up to me and said 'hi' and I was like, 'wait, you're saying 'hi' to me? Oh my god! You're Goldberg!' And right before he went out, he looked at me and Bayley and was like, 'you didn't see this'. He headbanged the door just to get himself psyched and ready. Like, that is the coolest thing I've ever seen in my life!"

As if the sports of wrestling and American football weren't susceptible enough to concussion already. And given that he stumbled across a few of his lines last night, there was legitimate worry that he had done himself harm.

However, I seriously doubt the two were related and to be fair to Goldberg, as long as he doesn't injure himself doing it, it makes for one hell of entrance.
