A major trade deal went down in the NBA last night during the association's All-Star game.
DeMarcus Cousins, who was on the roster of the Western Conference for last night's game, was traded from the Sacramento Kings to the New Orleans Pelicans.
Deal with the Pels includes guard Buddy Hield, and a 2017 first-round pick to the Kings for Cousins, league sources tell @TheVertical.

Cousins, one of the most physically dominant players in the game, teams up with Anthony Davis, one of the league's best players, in New Orleans.
Cousins actually found out about the trade while mid-interview at the All-Star game. As reporters settled to ask Cousins about his thoughts regarding the weekend, he received a whisper to his ear.
The 26-year-old, known as 'Boogie', could not have been more nonchalant in his reaction, simply replying, 'Oh really?', shrugging his shoulders and then telling the messenger, 'It's whatever'.
