Former Independence Community College head coach Jason Brown has embarked on a campaign to return to the game after he declared his interest in the Florida State job.
The job has attracted plenty of attention across college football after high-profile coach Bob Stoops was linked to the role. However, Netflix's Brown has stated that should he secure the job Florida would 'overnight have the best players in America'.
The coach came to prominence for his actions in the documentary programme 'Last Chance U'. During the last season of the show, Brown resigned from his team after sending an offensive text message to a new player.
Subsequently, he was indicted on 10 charges in Montgomery County.

In recent days Brown has done media interviews and been active on Twitter in pursuit of the position.

Brown has pitched for Power 5 jobs in the past but been unsuccessful. The job has been available since Florida fired Willie Taggart last week.
