Only a week after his convincing defeat at the hands of Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229, Ireland's Conor McGregor was exploring the intimacies of American football up close and personal.

Seemingly a guest of the Dallas Cowboys, the Irish fighter was unafraid to get stuck in with the action; right up to sending the home team out on their way against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Shown around the austere surroundings of the AT&T stadium in Dallas, even McGregor looked in awe of where he had found himself. In conversation with the team's owner Jerry Jones, McGregor can be seen mouthing "crazy" as he looks around the sprawling arena.
Embracing some of the players, getting them riled up and even taking some time to practice his catching and throwing, Conor McGregor looked in remarkably good spirits. The events of last weekend looking and well and truly behind him.

Clearly welcoming of the UFC star, an homage to McGregor's own celebration was thrown in for good measure as the Cowboys stretched out to a good lead against the Jaguars.
Dak got the @TheNotoriousMMA celebration down 💯
