If you thought the dispute between Anthony Martial and Zlatan Ibrahimovic over squad numbers was bad, then you haven't heard about Chris Sale's ridiculous blow-up.
The Chicago White Sox player has been at odds with his baseball team for a while now, and when Chicago left him out of the lineup last night- most assumed they had finally found a trade partner for him.
But then they released this statement:
Official: Chris Sale has been scratched from tonight’s scheduled start.

The Sale incident began with something "silly" that mushroomed into a bigger argument, says a source. #Whitesox

What clubhouse incident? Well, according to Tommy Stokke - Sale went crazy at the prospect of wearing a throwback jersey for the game:
Not a joke: Source says Sale blowup was because he didn't want to wear throwbacks, so he cut the jerseys up so no one could wear them.

Source: "Sale asked that they not wear (throwbacks) on his day because they are uncomfortable. Things escalated when they wouldn't relent."

Are they that bad?

They don't seem that bad to me. But apparently Sale's issue with them wasn't about style, but comfort. He alledgedly maintains that they are uncomfortable so he cuts everyones up? He must think he's a hero amongst men.
Sources say: Sale cut up throwbacks during batting practice. Upset that, in his view, PR and jersey sales were more important than winning.

So the White Sox sent him away.
This isn't the first time that Sale has had issues with the White Sox. Back in March, he was unhappy that teammate Adam LaRoche was sent home from a game because the management wouldn't let his 14-year-old son hang in the clubhouse.
Here's what Chicago had to wear instead:
Pity then that the White Sox had given these out to fans in attendance:
