In early February professional wrestling icon Bret Hart revealed that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Hart was defiant, despite the diagnosis, vowing to beat the illness.
Three months later - disease defeated - Hart made a momentous appearance, his first since the diagnosis, on the WWE Payback pay-per-view event.
The 58-year-old accompanied his niece Natalya to the ring for her WWE Women's Championship title match with Charlotte - daughter of another wrestling legend, Ric Flair.

Natalya would lose the match, but she and her uncle would win the fans as they sunk in Hart's trademark 'sharpshooter' on Charlotte and her father.
