The Boston Celtics are one of the most famous franchises in American sports, meaning they have had no shortage of famous visitors to the TD Garden down through the years.
That continued this week, with Prince William and his wife Kate attending their game against the Miami Heat on Wednesday evening. The couple are currently on an official visit to the United States, sitting court side for the 134-121 win for the home team.
As you can imagine, the presence of a future British monarch at the game was seen as a big of deal. However, many of those in attendance didn't seem that enthused by their presence.
When the couple appeared on the big screen, there was a smattering of boos and chants of 'USA' from the stands.

Then you had some odd post-game comments about the couple.
Boston Celtics coach throws dig at William and Kate
Boston Celtic head coach Joe Mazzulla was asked about whether he had met William and Kate, answering with a fairly odd remark that seemed to dismiss their status as 'royals'.

Reporter: Did you get a chance to meet the royal family, and if not what was it like to have them there in the building?
Mazzulla: Jesus, Mary, and Joseph?
Reporter: The Prince and Princess of Wales?
Mazzulla: Oh, no I did not. I'm only familiar with one royal family, I don't know too much more about that one. Thank you. But I'm glad their Celtic fans.
A man that knows where his bread is buttered.
Joe Mazzulla has only been in the job since the start of this season, leading the team to an NBA best record of 18-4 in the opening quarter of the season.
He probably won't be getting an invite to Buckingham Palace anytime soon.
