Right, let's dial this back a bit for those of you wondering WTF is going one. It is of course Wrestlemania season and while AJ Styles had been rumoured to be facing WWE Smackdown commissioner Shane McMahon on the grandest stage of them all, the storyline only began to come in to its own last night.
First off, an angry Styles came down to the ring and called out McMahon for renaging on Styles' rematch for the WWE title. What I most enjoyed was the valid point he made about Randy Orton, who is challenging for the title at Wrestlemania in his stead:
Randy Orton burns down Bray Wyatt's house and he doesn't get arrested, he doesn't go to jail. He goes to the main event at Wrestlemania.
Surely the cops should be looking into a man burning down someone's house!?
Anyhow, fast forward a little in the show and we start to get to the good part. Shane McMahon arrives backstage and Styles is waiting there to ambush him. This is where the head through a car window happens.
After that Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan fired Styles but that lasted all of about five minutes but HERE COMES THE MONEY, Shane O'Mac arrived out to the ring and dropped the mic.
