The 1990s were a fantastic time to be alive.
Colours were bright, hair was terrible, and denim was absolutely everywhere. Boybands were blowing up the charts and Manchester United were forming a dynasty under Sir Alex, who was then just Alex, but most interestingly we saw a rise in popularity of American sports as the broadcasting reached a Worldwide audience.
Some of the jerseys that these American teams decided to wear during this brilliant decade were a bit out there, but at the time they looked perfectly normal, and now looking back they represent everything we love about a decade of some seriously questionable graphic design.
NHL - Pheonix Coyotes
The arm pattern, the logo. Fantastic.
NBA - Vancouver Grizzlies
The Grizzlies were a new expansion team that didn't have a retro logo that the fans already loved, so they wen't mental. They now play in Memphis.
NHL - The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim
This had to be in here. After Gordon Bombay's men inspired a real NHL franchise, everybody wanted one of these. They're just the Anaheim Ducks now.
NBA - Pheonix Suns
Brilliant, vibrant colours and a sun-basketball logo. Radical.
NBA - Utah Jazz
We've always been a fan of this one, and John Stockton providing assists for Karl Malone means it's also iconic.
NBA - Cleveland Cavaliers
Long before LeBron, the Cavs rocked this funky design.
NBA - 1996 All Star Game
90s perfection. The all-star game was held in San Antonio, Texas. Hence the chilli.
