Oregon beat Utah 51-27 in college football on Saturday night. Early in the second quarter of the game, this happened.
Utah wide receiver Kaelin Clay caught a pass on third and five and headed towards the Oregon endzone. Pretty much everyone in the stadium, including the commentators thought he had scored a touchdown. He had not though. Clay had dropped the ball just before crossing into the endzone. Oregon's Joe Walker eventually picked up the football and ran it back for a 100 yard fumble return TD.
If Clay had held onto the ball a little bit longer then his side would've lead 14-0. Instead it was 7-7.
He has obviously learned nothing from DeSean Jackson's blunders in pro football.
