We're not sure who's actually said 'the worst call ever made' but someone definitely has. It was all set-up for a Seattle win. The Patriots hung on throughout the second half and even took the lead but, after an impossible catch by Jermaine Kearse, it was Seattle's game to lose. And lose it they did. Somehow.
Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson contrived to somehow lose the Super Bowl after they decided to throw the ball when it would surely have been the smart play to keep it in hand. Just hand the ball to Marshawn Lynch and win the Super Bowl. Nope. Malcolm Butler grabs the interception and Patriots win 28-24.
Tom Brady seemed happy.
Richard Sherman's reaction summed it all up.
