The Detroit Lions moved to replace their retiring kicker, Jason Hanson, yesterday by signing Norwegian prospect Havard Rugland.

Rugland came to fame last year when he released a video of him performing various trick-shots in his native Norway which he brilliantly named "Kickalicious". He grew up playing football but took up kicking for American football after watching the Super Bowl in 2011.
These videos always have to be treated with a certain amount of suspicion but this one does seem like the real deal. Mr. Kickalicious will compete with veteran, David Akers, for the kicker's job.
