Terenure kicked off the Leinster Schools Senior Cup in stunning style with a 24-11 victory over St. Mary's at Donnybrook.
The younger brother (Sam) of Leinster academy full-back Billy Dardis scored a contender for one of the tries of the tournament after something we've never seen in the sport before.

It was a nice backline move from Terenure, before Dardis came into the line and started making yards. Sam Dardis then attempted to pass to his outside winger, but the ball ricocheted off the defender's head and plopped back into his hands.
Then it was the Dardis' magic that earned the try, as he reacted so quickly - switching the ball in his hands to push off a would-be tackler before two wicked steps got him over.

There could be another Dardis in the Leinster academy in the not too distant future.
