Injury hit and on the back foot most of the game, Wales showed - to quote Ronan O'Gara - real 'balls' to defeat England at Twickenham.
Gareth Davies's 71st minute try followed by a pressure penalty from Dan Biggar put the Welsh ahead. England had an opportunity to level the game late on but Chris Robshaw rejected the draw, instead going for the win with a kick down the line.
The biggest game of the World Cup so far attracted massive attention, including from actor Samuel L. Jackson. He tweeted regarding some hope for Robshaw and also some good wishes for the Welsh injured in action.
Tough but epic game @ChrisRobshaw . Still all to play for against Oz. Hope Wales can get backline together for Fiji! #ENGvWAL @One4theBoys

Robshaw and Jackson know each other through a charity golf tournament which they both played in during the summer.
Good luck to my @One4theBoys golfing buddy @ChrisRobshaw for #ENGvWAL today. Go big man! #RWC2015 pic.twitter.com/r1uiSXPQOt
