Peter O'Reilly of the Sunday Times reports today that Leinster are set to announce the signing of Australian international second row Kane Douglas on a two year contract. Douglas stands at 6'7 and started all three tests in Australia's series loss to the Lions last summer.
By agreeing to sign for Leinster, Douglas automatically rules himself out of contention for next year's World Cup as Australia continue their policy of not considering players based in the Nothern Hempisphere for selection.
Douglas and Devin Toner will form possibly the tallest second row partnership known to mankind.
