Matt Dawson reassured fellow England fans that there was no need to panic after the lesson Ireland handed out to them last Sunday.
Because, in Dawson's estimation, England were taking on a team who would have beaten the All-Blacks the way they played on Sunday.
The way Ireland played they would have beaten anybody in the world – and that includes the All Blacks.
In his short, punchy column, Dawson said Joe Schmidt produced a 'training masterclass' and said one would have thought, looking at the performance, that Schmidt had 'seen Lancaster's playbook'.
Ireland would have beaten the All-Blacks on last weekend's showing. Exciting talk in a World Cup year.
