You won't like him when he's angry. Okay, he may not be angry yet but Munster coach Anthony Foley seems to be getting a bit fed up with the ongoing speculation about Paul O'Connell's future.
O'Connell himself has dismissed the speculation for the most part but French behemoths Toulon are rolling out the welcome wagon. The club's president, Mourad Boudjellal, has been hitting the airwaves suggesting that O'Connell could be on his way to join the galacticos of rugby but Foley has dismissed that as nothing more than a 'nuisance'.
It's not just Boudjellal either, quite a few Toulon players have since had their say in the media and a warm welcome is certainly being extended to O'Connell. However, Foley has had enough.
I think it's important that we look after Paulie and this - I called it nonsense before - is a nuisance factor more than anything at the moment, in terms of talking about stuff that a fellow in the south of France is talking about. He can go after whatever he wants but we'd like him to leave our players alone.
You get the sense this could go on for a while yet, at least until O'Connell himself makes a final decision. No pressure Paulie.
