There were reports in the French media that the IRFU are interested in buying out the final year of Sexton's two-year deal with Racing Métro 92, but Sexton told 2FM that he won't be returning to Dublin any time soon.

"There has been speculation about me leaving France a year early, but that's not going to happen," he said.

"I've said sometimes I absolutely love this place, there have been some difficult moments but it was always going to be the case.

"Me and Laura (his wife) are settled here now, we've a baby on the way and it'll be born in Paris hopefully. It's not something I got too hung up on, I've started to really enjoy it over here."
