Irish Rugby Team gone Twitter Mad
Hal LaRoux February 24, 2010
The Irish Rugby Team and twitter, unlikely bedfellows but it seems that between squats and slagging Donnacha O’Callaghans chartbusting tan, the Irish squad are turning en masse to Twitter, possibly it helps to banish the demons of Paris.
Following Brian O’Driscoll’s debut, Lions captain Paul O’Connell has decided its time to bare his soul on the world wide web.
http://twitter.com/Paul_OConnell writes “Day off coming to an end. Train back to Dublin with Hayes, sean Cronin and Wally” – so no expense spared as they get the express train.
He also tweets Jamie Roberts “@Jamiehuwroberts see you in a few weeks all going well”
http://twitter.com/brianodriscoll reveals that he is an “MU Fan” and that ” Wayne Rooney – half way to world player of the year! What a workrate.”
No sign of Leo Cullen on twitter yet and its been a while since ROG has been heard of, the last time he twittered he was all about ice baths and Edinburgh. You can find him at www.ronanogara.ie though
