The Ireland Wolfhounds put in an excellent defensive performance to beat the England Saxons at Kingsholm this evening.

But right at the end England had a chance to snatch the game.

The Saxons out-half, Freddie Burns, dived for the line, attempting to score a try which would put his side within a conversion of winning the game.

Recommended

It didn't quite turn out how he wanted it to though. The ball slipped out of his hands and hit the touchjudge in the face.
