The three names that people are mentioning to be just the fourth ever player to wear the 15 jersey for Ireland while Joe Schmidt is in charge are Jared Payne, Robbie Henshaw, and Tiernan O'Halloran.
There are at least eight players in the squad who can play fullback. I think it's going to be Robbie Henshaw, based on Joe Schmidt's comments, almost everyone wants it to be Jared Payne - and Tiernan O'Halloran is the only other natural 15 in the squad.
And then there's Brian O'Driscoll. The legendary centre revealed an alternate way of thinking when he revealed his backline for the first test in Cape Town:
For first Test on Saturday V SA I'm going with Murray, Jackson, Earls, Robbie, Jared, Trimble, Olding as a back line. #new&old

O'Driscoll decides to keep the Henshaw and Payne centre combination - which is interesting in itself. But he's gone for the mercurial talents of Stuart Olding to playmake from the back. It's been a long time since Olding has played fullback, so most fans won't know too much about him there - but it's not a terrible shout.
Will Joe go with it? He might just you know.
