For once an Irish person other than Bono or Denis O'Brien or Michael O'Leary or a member of the IDA appeared on Bloomberg TV.

Brian O'Driscoll was on to discuss his 'Ultimate Rugby app' which he co-founded with entrepreneur Ray Nolan - who appeared on the show alongside Brian. The app brings together all professional rugby games worldwide and lets users enter scores on amateur and junior matches.

O'Driscoll was then inevitably asked about his opinions on who would win the Rugby World Cup.

 

He reckoned that Ireland would be right 'in the mix' but ultimately stayed boring for is prediction on who would win out.

I’m going to go with New Zealand because they got the monkey off the back from winning in 2011, maybe them to beat Ireland in final.

Still, though a World Cup final. Can you imagine it?
