Anytime any referee takes a leaf out of Nigel Owens' book bodes well for rugby. Therefore when Ian Davies chides the lovable man-beast that is Adam Jones for attempting to seduce him with puppy dog eyes, you can't but laugh.

It seems though that Davies has a heart of steel if he didn't fall for Jones' charming attempts to woo him.
This isn't the first time that this ref has accused a player of using puppy dog eyes on him after a decision. Jamie Heaslip fell victim to this when Connacht came to the RDS before Christmas:
