Paul O'Connell continues to hint that the World Cup may be the last time we see him in an Irish jersey, but that may not be the only decision the Ireland captain has to make. French rugby publication, Midi Olympique, are claiming that O'Connell could be in line for a move to Top 14 side, Grenoble, who just so happen to be coached by Bernard Jackman.

This isn't the first time that O'Connell has been linked with an up and coming French side. In November, the Ireland captain was linked with a move to Pau who are riding high at the top of the Pro D2. However, with Jackman in charge of Grenoble and the club continuing to edge their way in to the French rugby hierarchy, the move could definitely appeal to O'Connell.

Having said that, the same problems exist with the link to Grenoble as they did with the link to Pau. O'Connell's centralised IRFU contract runs until June 2016. Granted, he could choose to retire from playing for Ireland, but the IRFU allowing him to leave his Munster duties (should he so wish, of course) is another matter entirely.
