Sometimes it takes a big game for action to finally come after a refereeing howler. Is a Champions Cup semi final big enough for action to come?

In the Saracens against Clermont Champions Cup semi final, Chris Ashton stops a Napoilioni Nalaga try with an illegal no arms tackle. Referee George Clancy went to the TMO because he wasn't sure if Nalaga had managed to get the ball down regardless.

With the benefit of replays, it becomes obvious that Ashton shoulder charges Nalaga out of play. Or apparently not. The TMO in question failed to see anything wrong with it, and no sanction came from it.
