Not for the first time, Conor McGregor's father Tony was prominent in an RTÉ documentary about his son. In last year's 'Notorious' we saw him getting very excited about some 3D posters of Muhammad Ali.

In the first installment of RTÉ's six-part McGregor feature aired last night, we witnessed Tony McGregor recite a poem as the family enjoyed some refreshments ahead of Conor's comeback fight against Diego Brandao at the o2 in Dublin last summer.

It really was something.

Conor said he's going to bring the UFC back to town,
It's here now and he's not leaving anyone hanging around,
His boys are with him all on the card,
Fighting fit, staying ready and training very hard,
Now listen up everybody, let there be no worried faces,
Because tonight in the o2 Dublin, we hold all the aces.
