Floyd Mayweather is busy preparing for one of the biggest fights in history as he finally collides with Manny Pacquaio on May 2nd. It's interesting to note then that Conor McGregor has registered ever so slightly on Mayweather's radar after his claim that he would kill Mayweather in "less than thirty seconds". in an Esquire interview published last week.

TMZ Sport reports that Mayweather labeled McGregor "a joke" and said:

"I don't take that dude seriously, he's just trying to get himself some publicity."

It's worth noting here that Mayweather didn't make his statement publicly and that TMZ cite "sources" that say he initially "scoffed" at the quotes.

Perhaps if Mayweather does want to respond publicly he could just remind The Notorious the difference in their respective pay packets, worldwide audience, press appeal etc.
