Ernests Gulbis is adamant that Wimbledon should change its vampire policy, and he will not be swayed by the media's influence.

The Latvian tennis player was asked in a post-match press conference to give his thoughts on John McEnroe's suggestion of getting rid of umpires in tennis. A perplexed Gulbis asked the reporter to confirm that he was being asked about "vampires" and the reporter repeated, "umpires".

In a hilarious mix-up, Gulbis clearly misheard the reporter twice and was convinced that he was being asked his opinions on the mythical blood-sucking demons. Gulbis answered the question accordingly, looking slightly put off by what he thought was a strange metaphor individuals who are ruining the sport.
