"Them's fighting words" is surely the only reaction readers of the Irish Examiner could have had this morning as they leafed through the paper to find this Donegal based scribe calling out the Notorious Conor McGregor in this here strongly worded letter.

James Woods from Gort an Choirce/Gortahork in Donegal has gone so far as to leave his name on the missive which seems to compare McGregor to the steaming back-end of a Donkey, a strange yet captivating image for a day as cold as this. The letter continues with what appears to be an invite to one or other of the hills in Donegal to scrap with what would no doubt be a hairy chested man wearing Bermuda shorts.

It remains to be seen if McGregor will take up this offer, can't see Dana White accepting Dungloe as a destination, but stranger things have happened. The question is, is James Woods the Irish for Jose Aldo and could this be Conor Mcgregor's next fight?
