Joe Rogan spoke about the upcoming Conor McGregor vs Jose Aldo title fight on his podcast the 'Joe Rogan Experience' last week and had some interesting things to say.

Rogan stated that he was unsure who would win the fight but that the Irishman has never fought anyone as remotely talented as Jose Aldo. The UFC commentator went onto say that McGregor's confidence can be a powerful weapon.

Really good, really confident. Fucks with people's heads. So confident and so good at talking. There's so much charisma about him that I think it's intimidating to his opponents. Belief is an incredibly powerful thing. If you truly believe that you are the best and you say it, your opponents have to wonder. Because everyone questions themselves, especially in the world of fighting.

When you get in there with a guy like Conor McGregor, 'we're not here to take part, we're here to takeover'. All this crazy shit, it's like 'fuck this guy is overwhelming'.

If you can put on a show like that, if you can put your peacock feathers up and puff up your back hairs, puff up those bristles nice and high like a cat when its angry and punch your back up. There's a reason why that exists in nature.

Like McGregor, Rogan also has reservations about how many miles the Brazilian has on his fighting clock.

Aldo has been fighting for a very long time.

Like a race car that never gets its tyres changed or doesn't ever get its suspension redone. As a human being, your body can literally only take so many miles. There's only so many times that you can go to war. There's only so many sparring sessions that you can take part in. Only so many wrestling sessions that you can take part in.

There's just a certain about that the body can take and we don't know when that number is. When you reach that number though, that's it, there's no turning back. Unless you're using testosterone or growth hormone, somethings that turn your body into some sort of super-human experiment.
