Perry Saturn

Most memorable storyline:

He left Terri Runnels for a mop. Runnels then went to Raven who helped her destroy 'Moppy' by throwing her into a woodchipper. I can't think of a more perfect storyline to start this whole post off with.

Where is he now?

The last recorded wrestling match of Saturn's career was in March last year, so I went onto his website, perrysaturn.net, to see what he was up to these days. This is what I was greeted with:

I'm more confused than ever now.

Kai En Tai

Most memorable storyline

The hadn't too many great storylines but perhaps what was most memorable about Funaki and Taka Michinoku's time together were their badly dubbed interviews ... Indeed.

Funaki is back with the WWE, making sporadic appearances on NXT at live events. Meanwhile Taka Michinoku is still wrestling in Japan at the still quite young age of 41.

D'Lo Brown

Most memorable storyline

Aside from having one of the best entrance songs of that era, D'Lo Brown is one of only four people ever to hold both the European and Intercontinental Championships at the one time and the only one of those to not win a world heavyweight title at some stage since.

Unfortunately Brown is probably more remembered for a botch move on Droz which rendered Droz quadriplegic. However, let's dwell on the good times.

Where is he now?

Brown returned to WWE for a brief period in 2008. Since then he has wrestled on the independent circuit and currently runs a weekly wrestling class in Texas called Future Stars of Wrestling.

More recently, as John O'Brien points out, he was seen trash talking Jose Mourinho.

Essa Rios

Most memorable storyline

The Mexican is probably most remembered for being the man that brought The Hardy Boyz and Lita together. Lita had been his manager but after he turned on her, Matt and Jeff came to her rescue. The rest is history as they say.

Where is he now?

Rios was only 18 when he debuted with the WWE in 1997. He's still wrestling in Mexico as Mr. Águila. His hair is ridiculous.

Grandmaster Sexay

Where is he now?

Grandmaster Sexay AKA Brian Christopher has struggled with drug problems in the past but seems to have overcome them. He still makes sporadic appearances for the WWE, alongside promoting his own wrestling shows and giving talks at schools.

Mean Street Posse

Most memorable storyline
Recommended

Well where do we begin? Shane McMahon's actual school friends Pete Gas and Rodney formed a less than fearsome team with actual wrestler Joey Abs when they formed the Posse. I suppose Abs was the one who had the biggest storyline when it was revealed that he used to have a thing with Stephanie. The divil.

Where are they now?

As of last year, Pete Gas was working for an office supply company, Rodney is a landscaper and Joey Abs works in his family's car repair shop.

Bull Buchanan

Most memorable storyline

During the Attitude Era, Buchanan was best known for his part in Right to Censor; the tag team that everyone really really loved to hate. God they were a horrible shower. Here'a time Y2J put all of them in the Walls of Jericho.

Where is he now?

Buchanan is still going on the independent circuit, although he doesn't seem to be up to much at present.

Chuck Palumbo

Most memorable storyline

Palumbo became involved in a very odd and widely criticised storyline where he and tag team partner Billy Gunn were due to wed on air during an episode of Smackdown. However the pair pulled out of the wedding, saying it was a publicity stunt gone too far. This upset GLAAD ( Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation), after they had initially been hopeful that the storyline would promote marriage equality.

Where is he now?

Palumbo is now the host of Discovery Channel's Lords of the Car Hoards, and plays in a band called 3 Spoke Wheel.

Dean Malenko

Most memorable storyline

I'm going to go with a WCW storyline for this because it was one of Chris Jericho's favourite storylines of all time. The pair had been feuding for a while before Dean Malenko went of WCW television for two months. During that time Jericho would come nearly every week and cut a promo berating his competitor. He did everything under the sun, including insulting Malenko's dead father.

Then, at Slamboree 1998, a wrestler called Ciclope won a battle royal which gave him a match with Jericho for his Cruiserweight Title. Newsflash: It wasn't really Ciclope.

Where is he now?

Malenko still works for the WWE as a road agent.

Spike Dudley

Most memorable storyline

The forgotten Dudley brother, Spike was one of the skinniest wrestlers of all time. After joining the WWE in 2001, as part of the Dudley Boyz, Spike fell in love with Molly Holly. This caused some problems given that the Dudley Boyz were feuding with the Hollys at the time. The outcome was inevitable. Bubba Ray and Devon turned on Spike and put Molly through a table.

Love wins out in the end however as their dastardly act didn't make its way onto YouTube. This tribute to Molly and Spike did however.

Where is he now?

He now wrestles under his real name and in a strange turn of events, he ended up in a feud on TNA last year against the Dudley Boyz. Small world.

Honourable mentions

Test, The Hurricane, Val Venis, Tajiri, Viscera, Maven, Lance Storm, Shawn Stasiak, and of course......
