When Conor McGregor claimed earlier in the week that he could "kill" Floyd Mayweather in "less than 30 seconds" he sparked some heated debate across social media.
While he was suggesting that a mixed martial artist with expertise in many different disciplines could easily overcome a pure boxer, many misinterpreted McGregor's remarks as claiming he would outbox the champ who is set to take on Manny Pacquiao in May in what will be the most lucrative fight in boxing history. Regardless, many voiced their opinion, and UFC president Dana White has today offered his when asked by a journalist from TMZ Sports.
His response? ANY fighter in the UFC would kick his ass, even women's strawweight contender Paige VanZant.
He seems confident, has he not thought about the prospect of Mayweather landing a punch before he gets put in a submission? We're not convinced it would be as easy as White makes out.
