It's fight week! UFC 178 goes down in the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas this Saturday featuring a stacked card that includes a grudge match between Conor McGregor and #5 ranked featherweight Dustin "The Diamond" Poirier. Judging by The Diamond's comments, he has absolutely no time for the Irishman's antics.
It opens with a typical McGregor quote "I believe not one of these athletes in the UFC understand what the fuck is happening. They don't know what's going on with these crazy Irish men running in looking to take their head clean off." and continues from there. The video features some insights into the Notorious' experiences at the UFC event in Dublin in July, some of the Dubliner's trademark relentless trash-talking and Dustin Poirier's response to the posterboy of Irish MMA's attempts to disrupt his focus going into this fight.
UFC 178 main card kicks off this Saturday at 3am Irish time. McGregor vs Poirier is third on the bill, playing support to a flyweight title fight main event between Demetrious Johnson and Chris Cariaso and a co-main clash between the explosive Donald Cerrone as he welcomes former lightweight Bellator champion Eddie Alvarez to the UFC.
