Feeling withdrawal symptoms after the stellar UFC Dublin event way back in July? Well, you'll be able to get your combat sports fix really soon as 3e have announced a landmark broadcasting deal with the UFC.

The announcement comes after the amazing response to Fight Night 46 which was the highest-rated sporting event ever to be broadcast on 3e. Over 600,000 Irish viewers tuned in to see Conor McGregor hammer Diego Brandao with a first round TKO in front of an electric crowd in the O2.

There is considerable Irish interest in a couple upcoming UFC events. McGregor takes on rising star Dustin Poirier on September 27th at UFC 178 in Las Vegas. Also, adopted Irishman Gunner Nelson will headline the Fight Night 53 card in Sweden on October 4 in a card that features Dubliner Cathal Pendred.

It hasn't been announced what fights will be shown yet, but these two cards are the ones Irish MMA fans will be hoping to see.
