It has been a bloody good 24 hours for Irish MMA, as after watching Paddy Holohan, Cathal Pendred, and of course Conor McGregor all win at UFC Fight Night 59 in Boston, we have now been given the news that Donegal's Joseph Duffy has an opponent and date for his UFC debut as he is scheduled to take on Vagner Rocha at UFC 158 in Dallas on March 14.

Duffy had signed to the UFC earlier this month after making his return to MMA back in November, having previously taken a break to focus on professional boxing.

Known for being the last man to defeat Conor McGregor before his meteoric rise to the top of the sport, Duffy will be looking to make a name for himself in the octagon when he faces Brazilian fighter Vagner Rocha who is coming off a loss to Jake Matthews, and also has losses to Donald Cerrone and Ultimate Fighter Season 12 winner Jonathan Brookins during his professional MMA career, leaving him with a record of 11-4.

Now we have even more Irish UFC action to look forward to, along with confirmation that Conor McGregor will fight Jose Also for the title in May.
