Liam Hayes on TV3 yesterday argued that Brian McGuigan shouldn’t be sent off because Declan O’Sullivan wasn’t badly hurt. I’d argue that elbowing somebody in the back is cowardly and doesn’t belong on the pitch. Neither does what Patrick Curtain did though. He should’ve seen red too.
