After the Sunday Game showed the highlights from Kerry's 37th All-Ireland title win yesterday, they cut back to studio to hear from Pat Spillane and he really did talk some shite.

The full monologue is in the video above but here's the most egregious segment of what he had to say.

You look at All-Ireland titles since 2009, one team - Donegal - have won an All-Ireland with defensive-type tactics. You look at the results of all the major footballing titles this year, whether it was the All-Ireland club title, the All-Ireland colleges, the All-Ireland minor, the All-Ireland U21 and now today the All-Ireland senior. Systems are there to be found out, the better footballers, the more skillful footballers won on the day.

Well Pat, the problem here is that Kerry just won an All-Ireland with defensive tactics. Their defensive set-up was highlighted during half-time of the game by Ciaran Whelan. Joe Brolly also called Kerry a "mirror image" of Donegal.

Kerry out-Donegaled Donegal yesterday but Pat seems to be sticking to the idealistic view of Kerry football.
