After winning the Sligo intermediate football championship, Calry/St Joseph's knew they had one stop to make on their tour with the cup.

In a beautiful gesture, the team paid a visit to Scarden, the final resting place of former teammate Gary Dillon. The former club PRO died on St Valentine's Day earlier this year after losing his battle with Cystic Fibrosis.

Derry football legend and Sunday Game analyst Joe Brolly befriended Dillon and became heavily involved in the campaign to improve organ donation rates. Brolly was after donating a kidney to a sick neighbour when he met Dillon. He was appreciative of the club's moving gesture.
