Over the past couple of years the Mayo for Sam movement has infiltrated every corner of the globe. From Belmullet to Ballina and Kiltamagh to Killala, the descendants of Mayo have departed in their droves. Their only comfort in far away lands? The knowledge that a kindred spirit need only mention those three words and they can feel like they're home again.

It was only a matter of time before the far flung children of other counties wanted a touchstone of their own to remember home by. The elephants of India will never be the same again if Wexford hurling continues it's reemergence at a steady pace.

We've had a look and apparently painting elephants is the done thing in India so don't worry, the folks of Gorey have no need to fear revenge attacks on their cows by Indian cricket fans any time soon.
