Ah, September. It's a great time to be a GAA fan.

Even National Geographic has GAA fever in September. The media organisation has published their list of ten things to do in Ireland during the autumn and at number one is "Attend a Sports Championship."

Recommended

Somewhat unaware at how tough it is to get an All-Ireland final ticket, they say "Attending an All-Ireland is the experience of a lifetime, but plan ahead as all 82,300 tickets usually sell out." Can you really plan ahead to get an All-Ireland ticket? You can't buy them months in advance like you would with a Heineken Cup final.

They also recommend that people "Root for Favorites at a Horse Racing Festival", which I read as going on the sauce at the Listowel Races. I highly endorse this recommendation.
