Speaking to the media yesterday, Darran O'Sullivan intimated that he had quit he job as a bank official with Ulster Bank, partially in order to get himself right physically for the inter-county football season.
The event the Kerryman was speaking at was the announcement of 20 new Sky Sports Living for Sport athlete mentors, one of whom was O'Sullivan.
In three tweets, where he clarified how new employment situation, he said that taking up this job was also part of his reason for leaving his employer of seven years.
He also said that he was not becoming a professional GAA player and "people can get their knickers out of a bunch".
