An ardent GAA fan has taken extreme measures to protest the possibility of a UFC event in Croke Park by chaining himself to the goalposts at The Hill end of pitch, after breaking into the stadium last night.

During the controversial UFC press conference in Dublin yesterday, Dana White told the audience 'I promise you here today, if we get through all the ordinance stuff, then we'll do Croke Park.' This, and the conference itself, has not gone down well with many die hard GAA fans.

So, fast forward to this morning and I stumble upon a small ruckus outside Croker during my walk to work. A number of Croke Park residents had gathered in support of the unnamed rabble-rouser. Security would not let yours truly into the stadium to talk to the man but a protester who described themselves as his first cousin, told me:

He watched that shit last night and said enough is enough. If they think they're going to come into this place with that brand of nonsense and thuggery, they've another thing coming.

A security guard said that they are currently trying to talk the man into leaving but should the situation not be alleviated soon then they have to resort to forcibly removing him.
