One of Cyril Farrell's favourite GAA cliches became a little too real in Tipperary at the weekend.

Fethard and Moycarkey-Borris were due to play a relegation playoff at Ballyneale but the referee postponed the game after he deemed the conditions unsuitable.

The Fethard GAA Twitter account tweeted some pictures from the venue showing ridiculously long grass and a net not properly attached to the crossbar.

The club also retweeted Diamuid Fogarty asking if club players matter to the county board anymore.
