This Mexican League Goalkeeper Howler Is Straight Out Of Junior D

Our unfortunate anti-hero is the fantastically-named Mexican goalkeeper William Yarbrough (he's the son of expat Texans). Here he is giving América the lead against Léon.

You'd have to imagine that this kind of error is far more frequently played out in the lower reaches of the GAA on blustery, ball-like-a-bar-of-soap Tuesday evenings, when the goalkeeper is a reluctant stand-in and his worst nightmare is bearing down on top of him - an undercooked 45.

Poor old Bill - to be fair to him we should mention that he was a Mexican championship winner with León last year.
