The Irish U17's lost 1-0 to Poland tonight but other results went their way ensuring that they have qualified for the European Championships in Bulgaria this summer.

Ireland had already defeated Belarus 3-1 and drawn 2-2 with Greece so the latter's 0-0 draw with Belarus sent Ireland through.

Here's the team that played tonight.

Kelleher, O’Keeffe, Lunney (Stokes 41 mins), Masterson, Leahy, Hanney, Barrett, Ronan, Clarke (Levingston 71 mins), Wade-Slater (Elbouzedi 55 mins), Aherne

The team is managed by Tom Mohan.

As pointed out elsewhere, many of these players were born in 1998, the year Brian Kerr guided the U16s and the U18s to European glory.
