Messi and Ronaldo to play on the same team?

Spanish newspaper Sport has reported that former Barcelona and Brazil player Rivaldo has invited Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi to play in a charity game that he is organising. It was also revealed that he has asked that they play on the same team.

Rivaldo has also invited several other players from the Real Madrid and Barcelona squads to play.

A game featuring Messi and Ronaldo on the same team would be a huge draw given their rivalry over the recent years.

I would certainly be watching.
