Colombia continued their impressive start to this year's Copa America with a 2-1 win over Paraguay overnight but the real winner was gravity, which was given a few seconds to sit back and relax. According to a physics journal that we just consulted, a coin will land on its edge roughly once every 6000 tosses.

It just so happened that one of those rare occurrences happened in front of thousands of viewers at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena last night.
