There had been some curiosity over how the UFC would handle a champion fighting an interim champion in terms of the official Reebok fight kit at UFC 194th on December 12th, but that now appears to have been cleared up.
Since Reebok took over as the official fight kit supplier to the UFC, the champion would wear black shorts with gold trim, and the challenger would wear white shorts, but things will be different when Aldo and McGregor finally get their hands on each other.
Aldo will indeed be wearing black and gold, but Conor will be wearing unique green shorts, as can be seen from the official tale of the tape:
