Paul Kimmage Subpeonaed To Appear In Swiss Court
Fellow anti-doping advocate David Walsh has announced on his twitter page that Kimmage is to appear in a Swiss Court on December 12th. He’s not happy.
Why is UCI suing an out-of-work journalist Paul Kimmage, when he has done more for the anti-doping movement than any ex-rider? A scandal.

The question is this: why would UCI go after Kimmage and not go after Tyler Hamilton and publishers of The Secret Race?

We presume that this is in relation to the case that was reported in January by the Sunday Independent where the current UCI President Pat McQuaid and former President, Hein Verbruggen are seeking damages against Kimmage.

The Sunday Independent reported today that fellow Irishman Pat McQuaid and Dutchman Hein Verbruggen, the current and former presidents of the UCI, are each seeking damages of 8,000 Swiss francs (about €6,600) from Kimmage.
The newspaper states that they have told the Swiss District Court that Kimmage has caused them ‘annoyance’ and that their ‘reputation has been seriously damaged’ by articles.
